6/1/15 God’s Lighthouse For The World

“The Holy Scriptures are the story of the children of Israel.  They tell us about our relationship with God, our creator, our Father.  The scrolls of Moses show us how we began, and give us the laws that God wants us to live by.  The prophets show us how God feels about His people when they obey Him and when they turn away from Him.  They tell us what is going to happen in the future.  They show that God is trustworthy, because everything He told His prophets ultimately came to pass.  The history scrolls tell the story of our people, beginning where the scrolls of Moses left off.  The Psalms, our Holy songs, are the poetic expressions of all of these elements.  From the very beginning, our people have been set apart by God.  He chose Israel to be a beacon of light to the rest of the world.  He has loved and cared for His people and taught them His Law and how they are to live as His children, so that they in turn can show these things to the Gentiles.  And now, I AM here as the fulfillment of all that is written in the Holy Scriptures.  Everything written points to Me, and without Me, the story is incomplete.  It is for this reason that I AM here, among the Jews, and it is for this reason that I send you out to bring My Message of the Kingdom of Heaven only to the people of Israel for now.  When the people of Israel understand that I AM the key to the whole story, they in turn will be able to show the rest of the world.  The people of Israel are the ones chosen before the beginning of time to bring the whole world back into a right relationship with their Holy Father, and I AM relying on the love and compassion that I see in you for your brothers and sisters to help transform many hearts and lives with the Message you bring to them.”

Matthew 10:5b-6
